Man kidnapped in Bangor

A 27-year-old man has escaped injury after he was reportedly kidnapped in Bangor.

The incident happened on Thursday at around 10am on the Bryansburn Road when a white high top Transit van pulled up beside the man.

Two men wearing balaclavas, one of whom had a knife, bundled him into the vehicle.

The man was let out uninjured in the Crawfordsburn Road area a while later.

One of the men in the van is described as being approximately 5'10" tall, of heavy build, with green eyes and was wearing a black Puffer jacket, black Adidas tracksuit bottoms and white trainers.

The other man is described as being approximately 5'10" tall, of heavy build and was wearing a black leather jacket, dark jeans and white trainers.
