A 26-year-old man has suffered slash wounds to his hands and arms after being assaulted in his Downpatrick home.
Three men forced their way into the property in the Glebetown Drive area at around 4.50am on Tuesday and attacked him.
The victim managed to escape and raise the alarm.
Police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
