Man injured in city assault

A man has been treated in hospital for head injuries after he was attacked in Belfast city centre.

The 21-year-old was assaulted outside licensed premises in the Queen's Quay area at around 1.30am on Wednesday.

His injuries are not believed to life-threatening.

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward.
