A man has been held at gunpoint during a hijacking in north Belfast which police say may be linked to paramilitaries.
The 40-year-old was driving in the Etna Drive area of Ardoyne shortly after 10pm on Tuesday night when the attack happened.
An armed man jumped out in front of the driver, demanding he stop. The hijacker then made off in the car which was found on fire a short time later in Jamaica Street.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
