A 44-year-old man is still being held in connection with the murders of two soldiers at Massereene Army Barracks in Antrim.
Sappers Patrick Azimkar and Mark Quinsey were shot dead as they collected pizza in March.
The detained man is also being questioned about the attempted murders of five other people.
He was arrested in the Mid Ulster area on Tuesday evening and is being held at Antrim Serious Crime Suite.
Prominent dissident republican Colin Duffy has already been charged in connection with the murders.
