A man is being questioned by police investigating the murder of Danny McKay.

Mr McKay was gunned down in his home in the Longlands estate area of Newtownabbey on Thursday.

Police confirmed Mr McKay, nicknamed Danny boy, was known to them and detectives are examining a possible link to drugs and the involvement of dissident groups.

A 23-year-old man was arrested in the north Belfast area on Tuesday by detectives from the Serious Crime Branch and taken to Antrim Serious Crime Suite.

Three men aged 28, 41 and 50 arrested over the weekend have been released unconditionally.
