He was arrested in the Co Tyrone town on Sunday.

A statement from the PSNI said: "It is believed this relates to the recovery of an improvised device located during a series of searches which were conducted in the south Armagh and East Tyrone area over the Easter weekend of 2011."

The man will appear at Enniskillen Magistrates Court on Monday charged with having an explosive substance with intent to endanger life or cause serious injury to property.

The charges are subject to review by the Public Prosecution Service.
