A man has died in a house fire in Cookstown, Co Tyrone.

The blaze broke out at a property in the Cooke Crescent area shortly before 1.50pm on Saturday.

A police spokesperson said PSNI are investigating the circumstances surrounding the fire.

There are no further details at this stage.
