Man dies after Ballycastle cliff fall

A 60-year-old man has died after falling from a cliff path near Ballycastle, Co Antrim.

It happened at Whitepark Road, near Kenbane Head on Saturday morning.
Red Bay RNLI launched a lifeboat at 11.15am following reports of a missing person in the area and found him in the water shortly before 12pm.
A spokesperson for the RNLI said the man was transferred from the lifeboat into the care of rescue helicopter Prestwick 177, which was also involved in the search, and flown to Coleraine hospital.
However, police later confirmed that the man had died.
