Man critical after Keady brick attack

A man has suffered serious head injuries after a large brick was thrown through the windscreen of a car he was sitting in.

The 25-year-old is in a critical condition in hospital following the incident in the Kinelowen Street area of Keady, which happened just after 5.15am on Sunday.

Police said a large object was thrown through the front windscreen of a silver Citroen Xsara and struck the man who was a passenger.

He has been taken to hospital for treatment.

A 27-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the attack.

Police have appealed for anyone with information to come forward - they are particularly keen to speak to the driver of the car who witnessed events.

how can anyone throw a brick at anyone ?they must know it could kill or even cause serious damage, no respect for human life.
