Man charged with terrorism offences

A man already on remand for terrorist-related offences is facing two further charges.

The 29-year-old was being held at Maghaberry Prison in relation to charges including the collection of information likely to be of use to terrorists.
During a hearing on Wednesday, police applied to have him released into their custody for further questioning.
He was later charged with possession of items likely to be of use to terrorists, and aiding and abetting criminal damage.
He is due to appear at Newry Magistrates' Court on Thursday.
