Man charged with false imprisonment

A 21-year-old man is due to appear in court later in relation to a domestic incident at a flat in Newtownabbey over the weekend.

He is charged with false imprisonment, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, common assault, and criminal damage after an altercation occurred at a flat in Carmeen Drive in the town on Saturday.
He is expected to appear at Belfast Magistrates' Court later.
