Man charged with east Belfast rape

A 47-year-old man has been charged with sexual offences in relation to an incident in east Belfast over two years ago.

Detectives from PSNI's rape crime unit have charged the man with rape, sexual assault and false imprisonment.

He is due to appear at Newtownards Magistrates' Court on Tuesday 12 February.

The charges relate to an incident in the Castlereagh area in August 2010.
