Man charged with directing terrorism

A 38-year-old man has been charged in connection with dissident republican activity in Londonderry.

He was detained in the early hours of Friday in north Belfast by detectives from Serious Crime Branch.

He is due to appear at Derry Magistrates' Court on Monday, accused of directing a terrorist organisation and membership of a proscribed organisation.

There are no further details.

you have to love the psni they can go out and get the so called dissidents but cant are wont get the drug dealers who are killing more people than the dissidents the dogs on the street knows who r selling them but the psni dont before long we our going to end up like some parts of new york like harlem and peoples homes will be getting broken into so they can get some drug money by then it will be to late by all means go after the dissidents but also look after the community that is what is in the papers today all about the drugs not about the dissidents i do hope utv will post this comment this is what the people are talking about the hard drugs that r coming into there community by loyalists dissidents as i would call them cause the psni say the uvf and uda are still on ceasefire so go after them aswell no 1 is above the law isnt that what we been told
