Man charged with Antrim murder bid

A 25-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder after shots were fired at a house in Antrim in the early hours of Thursday morning.

Two people escaped injury after two shots hit the property in the Rathkyle, Bleerick area at around 5.25am.
One of the shots went through a double-glazed kitchen window and embedded itself in a wall.
The man is also charged with being in possession of a firearm under suspicious circumstances and possession of Class A & B drugs with intent to supply.
He is due to appear at Larne Magistrates' Court.
