The John Deere tractor was reported stolen from the Dromara area of Co Down on Friday,13 September
Neighbourhood police on routine patrol found the vehicle in the Co Armagh village on Tuesday.
The man is due to appear before Newry Magistrates' Court on Wednesday charged with handling stolen goods.
Chief Inspector Davy Beck, Newry and Mourne Area Commander, said: "We have told the public about our commitment to tackling rural crime and this arrest should send a clear message to those who break the law that there is no place for this type of crime in Newry and Mourne.
