A man has been charged by police investigating a paramilitary-style shooting which happened in Strabane in April 2010.

The 24-year-old victim was shot in the legs in the Lisnafin Park area of the Co Tyrone town.

PSNI Serious Crime Branch officers arrested a 24-year-old man in Omagh on Tuesday.

He has been charged with GBH with intent, and possessing a firearm with intent to endanger life, and will appear before Dungannon Magistrates Court on Friday.

He is the second person to be charged in connection with the shooting.
