A man has been charged in connection with an armed robbery of an off licence in north Belfast.
The 22-year-old was arrested by police investigating an attack on a store on the Ballygomartin Road on Wednesday night.
A man entered the premises at around 8.15pm and asked for alcohol and cigarettes.
When a member of staff served him the man pulled out a gun and demanded more alcohol, cigarettes and cash, which he put in a bag before leaving the shop.
Police arrested the 22-year-old suspect in the Ballygomartin area at around 10.40pm.
He was later charged with armed robbery and being in possession of a firearm.
The man is expected to appear before Belfast Magistrates Court on Friday morning.
