Man in court over cannabis find
A man has been charged with a number of drugs offences after cannabis plants worth around £500k were discovered in Bangor.

The 34-year-old is accused of cultivating cannabis, possession of cannabis and possession with intent to supply.

The cannabis factory was discovered during the search of a house on the Raglan Road in the town carried out shortly after 8.30pm on Thursday night.

It is understood that around 400 cannabis plants, all in the very early stages of growth, were uncovered along with cultivation equipment.

Try going to the psych-neurosis wards at Ards and Downshire and tell the people there suffering from cannabis induced psychosis its harmless. £500,000 is hardly personal use so where was it going then, Christmas market???

Cannabis is a relatively harmless recreational drug, the users of which do not create problems , certaintly if compared to heavy drinkers. The government should stop telling the Police to target cannabis growers and users, and instead tell them to target anti social behavior, vandalism and theft - the real tangible social ills.
