Man charged over assault on police

A 53-year-old man has been charged with assault on police following an incident at a protest in Limavady, Co Derry.

The demonstration took place at Connell Street on Tuesday.

The man is also charged with disorderly behaviour and resisting police.

He is due to appear at Limavady Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, 9 January.

It is not the police men or womans fault that their fleg was taken down or for the political tensions at present. Those who attck police should b dealt with harshly as a deterant. How did they deal with rioters in London ?
