Man charged over Royal Mail hijacking

A 24-year-old man has been charged with hijacking, driving whilst unfit, aggravated vehicle taking and dangerous driving.
The charges relate to an incident on Saturday when a Royal Mail van was hijacked in the Carrigart Avenue area of west Belfast.
The man is due to appear at Belfast Magistrates Court on Monday, 6 February.
As is normal procedure all charges will be reviewed by the PPS.
