Man charged over Down cannabis factory

A 41-year-old man has been charged with a number of drugs and money laundering offences after police uncovered a cannabis factory in Ballynahinch, Co Down.

Detectives from Organised Crime made the discovery as part of a planned search of a property on the Lisburn Road on Tuesday morning.
Around 93 plants, with an estimated value of £50,000, were found along with a quantity of drugs making equipment.
The man, who faces seven charges, is due to appear before Downpatrick Magistrates' Court on Thursday morning.
