Man charged over Co Down stabbing

A 28-year-old man has been charged in relation to the stabbing of another man in Bangor, Co Down.

The victim, aged 48, was stabbed in the arm, chest and ear at Dufferin Avenue on Sunday, 20 May and required hospital treatment.
On Wednesday, police charged the 28-year-old with grievous bodily harm with intent, possession of an offensive weapon, and possession of a class B drug.
He is expected to appear at Bangor Magistrates' Court on 17 October, 2012.
