A 33-year-old man and a 28-year-old man were arrested on Thursday night after a member of the public told police that men were acting suspiciously around ATMs.

The pair were stopped and searched by police officers when a local police CCTV operator found two men in Bow Street matching the witness description.

The 28-year-old has been charged with possession of an article for use in fraud, criminal damage, attempted theft and possession of a false identification document.

He is expected to appear at Lisburn Magistrates' Court on Saturday.

The 33-year-old man detained at the same time has been released on bail pending further inquiries.
