A 19-year-old man, who was arrested over a sectarian attack in the Tennent street area of north Belfast at the weekend, has been released on police bail pending further inquiries.
A man, aged 18, sustained a broken jaw and nose after he was assaulted at 6.20am on Saturday morning.
The man was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and robbery and detained at Antrim Road police station.
A sectarian motive is still a line of inquiry, a police spokesperson said on Wednesday.
