Anthony James Campbell, 33, from Stratheden Street was also charged on Friday with common assault and criminal damage.

He was also accused of making the petrol bomb.

The charges arise out of an incident at Kelly's Cellars in Bank Street in the Bank Street area on Saturday 27 July.

A detective said he could connect Campbell to the charge.

Campbell is on bail and the case was adjourned at Belfast Magistrate's Court until next Wednesday.
