Man bailed over PSNI station pipe bomb

A man questioned by police investigating the discovery of a pipe bomb at a police station in Tandragaee, Co Armagh has been bailed.

The 41-year-old was arrested on Thursday and later the same day a police spokesperson said he had been released on bail pending further inquiries.

A device was found at the gates of the station on the Armagh Road in the town on 31 December.

Army technical officers examined the object, which they said was viable.
