Man attacked with bat in Belfast park

A 21-year-old man has been injured after he was attacked with a baseball bat at Cavehill Country Park in north Belfast.

He received injuries to his legs in the assault which happened shortly after 8.30pm on Friday.

The unknown assailant ran off in the direction of Killcoole.

Police have appealed for anyone with information to contact them.
