The 23-year-old was detained in Ballymena and taken to Antrim police station for questioning under the Terrorism Act.

A crowd of over 100 people descended on Larne on 30 March.

They damaged homes and property in the Knockdhu Park and Ferris Avenue areas of the Co Antrim town.

Police blamed loyalist paramilitaries, saying the violence was a "UDA power trip".

The arrest was the 16th in their investigation.
