Man, 88, charged with sex abuse

An 88-year-old man has been charged in relation to historical sex abuse which took place in west Belfast in the 1970s.

Detectives from the PSNI's Child Abuse Investigation Unit charged the man with a number of serious sexual offences.

He is due to appear at Belfast Magistrates' Court on Wednesday 21 November.

There are no further details.
