Machete robbery at Dungannon restaurant

A staff member has been treated for suspected broken ribs after three men armed with knives and a machete robbed a restaurant in Dungannon.

The armed robbery at the business in the Northland Row area in the Co Tyrone town happened in the early hours of Monday.
At around 12.30am, the men entered the premises and threatened staff members. They took money from the till and other personal items.
The injured member of staff was treated at hospital and other workers were left badly shaken.
The suspects are described as being of stocky build and all wore dark clothing. It is believed the men made off on foot in the direction of Milltown.
