A 27-year-old man named locally as David Warnock from Richhill, Co Armagh, died in the accident, while a third man, believed to be aged 60, remains in hospital.
The men were part of a Portadown angling club and had been out fishing when their boat capsized on Thursday afternoon in Co Westmeath.
A huge team of rescuers have been combing the lake this weekend for the missing man.
More than 30 divers were involved in the operation on Sunday alongside a number of boats, including a considerable amount of support from local fisherman.
Efforts have been focused on the spot where the two casualties were found.
Teams are working to narrow down the area which is being searched and made some progress amid good weather conditions - however the search was stood down as light faded.
It is expected the operation will continue at first light on Monday.
