According to Roads Service, the road will be closed overnight as it needs to be assessed in daylight by their engineers.

A local diversion is in place via the Straidkilly Road.

Motorists are advised to exercise caution in the area.

It comes after a previous landslide last week, just about one mile outside Glenarm village.
