Intruders fire crossbow at householder

A man has escaped injury when two burglars fired a crossbow bolt at him in Antrim.

Two men wearing balaclavas and dark clothes pushed their way into a property at Elmdale flats at around 9pm on Monday.
They fired the weapon at the victim but missed, and the man was able to force the intruders out of the flat before the pair made off on foot.
Police have appealed for anyone with information about the attack to contact them.
