Four houses have been damaged in south Belfast after a bin was suspiciously set alight.
Police believe the wheelie bin was deliberately set on fire behind a fence on Lockview Road at around 6am on Friday.
The blaze then set an oil tank on fire.
The fire spread to four houses and a number of cars parked on Harleston Street.
The houses had to be evacuated while fire crews tackled the blaze.
The cost of the damage is estimated at £150,000, police said.
There were no reports of any injuries.
