Thousands of music fans will be travelling to the Boucher Road playing fields to see The Foo Fighters headline the first night of Tennent's Vital.

However the Met Office has once again issued its dreaded yellow warning, which brings with it a risk of localised flooding and travel disruption.

Forecasters said the heavy showers which have developed in many areas through Tuesday will become more frequent in the early evening.

There is also a likelihood of thunder and perhaps hail.

"The public is advised to take extra care," the Met Office said. "The public should be aware of the possibility of localised flooding and travel disruption."

Meanwhile T Vital organisers said the event will take place rain or shine. They have advised festival goers to be prepared for the bad weather and, if necessary, bring wellies.
