Police said around 25 wooden crosses had been pulled out of the ground at the cemetery in the Chapel Street area.

They have appealed for anyone with information to come forward.

"These are despicable acts of vandalism by individuals who have no respect or thought for their community or society in general.

"We need the community to assist us to identify those responsible. Anyone with any information please contact us in Ardmore on 0845 600 8000."

I wonder how the person[s] who did this would feel if it was one of there family graves wrecked by some idiot with nothing better to do than attack graves?

People that do this type of thing are either devoid of enough brain cells to function normally, therefore need to be pitied OR, devoid of any of the good qualities that make us human. Actions like this are inane, senseless, and serve no purpose other than to show the perpetrators up for what they are THICK MORONS!
