Glenshane Road reopens after crash

The Glenshane Road, near Dungiven, has re-opened after it was closed overnight following a serious crash.

Two men were taken to Altnagelvin Hospital on Saturday afternoon after the two vehicle collision.

The extent of their injuries is unknown, but the crash was described by police as "serious."

The road reopened just before 2pm on Sunday.

A police spokesperson said that although re-opened, the road had not yet been gritted and motorists should proceed with caution.

There are no further details.
