Gang attack man in north Belfast

Police are hunting a gang of five people who attacked a 20-year-old man in north Belfast earlier this week.

The assault took place in the Silverstream Road area sometime between 11pm and 11.30pm on Wednesday 26 December, but has just been reported.
Up to five people - one with a suspected gun - are said to have got out of an old-type Mitsubishi 4x4 before targeting the victim.
The man's injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
