A man has been charged by police investigating serious disorder in Larne.

Violence erupted in the Co Antrim town on Sunday 30 March. Around 100 people descended on the Knockdhu Park and Ferris Avenue areas attacking homes and cars.

The 32-year-old has been charged with one count of rioting, two counts of attempted intimidation and three counts of criminal damage.

He is expected to appear before Antrim Magistrates Court on Tuesday.

Another two men aged 44 and 41 have been released.
