Two others were injured in the attack in the Ballyduff Gardens area at around 4pm on Monday and were discharged from hospital after receiving medical treatment.

All six were taken to the Royal Victoria Hospital following the multiple stabbing.

A neighbour told UTV that she believed it was a domestic incident.

A police spokesperson said:"An investigation into the circumstances is underway but police are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident at this stage."

There are no further details.
