Four men have been charged over a suspected cocaine seizure in Banbridge, Co Down.

The men aged 25, 27, 28 and 34 were detained on suspicion of drugs offences on Tuesday evening following the searches of two cars on the A1 carriageway.

Suspected cocaine with a street value of around £120,000 was recovered.

A further seizure of £5,000 worth of cannabis was seized in a follow up search in the Lisburn area.

They are due to appear at Newry Magistrates' Court later.

Congratulations again to the PSNI - getting this off the streets. Remember to all you who are crying for some drugs to be legalised - these pushers are the ones who are getting rich while our young ones are getting mental health problems, criminal records, breaking up families and dying. Well done again PSNI keep up the good work
