The arrests at Abercorn Park were made on Wednesday following a tip off to UK Border Agency officers.

Three men aged 36 to 51 whose claims for asylum had been refused and a 48-year-old woman who entered the country illegally were taken to Border Agency detention.

A sum of cash was also seized under the Proceeds of Crime Act.

Janet Wiseman of the UK Border Agency, said: "Foreign nationals who are in this country illegally should be in no doubt that they will be found, arrested and removed from the UK.

"We are sending a simple, clear message to people who are in the country illegally - more raids are planned and you will be caught."
