Four freed after teen beaten in Glenavy

Four teenagers have been released after an 18-year-old boy was badly beaten outside a house in the Killultagh Park area of Glenavy, Co Antrim.

The assault reportedly happened at some time between midnight and 1am on Friday.

Police said the victim suffered a fractured jaw, fractured eye socket and cuts and bruises.

Four boys aged 17 were arrested in the Glenavy area on Sunday on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent. They were held in custody and later released on bail pending further inquiries.
