Four people have been charged with drugs and money laundering offences in connection with a £410,000 cannabis haul in Belfast.

Three men aged 23, 30 and 48 as well as a 38-year-old women were charged over the seizure.

A fifth person, a 56-year-old woman was released pending a report to the PPS.

They were due to appear at Belfast Magistrates' Court on Saturday.

Police uncovered the drugs following raids on properties in the north, south, east and west of the city on Wednesday and Thursday.

A large factory containing £330,000 of cannabis plants was discovered at Hughenden Avenue, following searches at Greenville Road uncovered £60,000 of the drug, while a further £20,000 was seized from the Evelyn Avenue area.
