Searches were conducted in Warrenpoint and Newry on Tuesday.
They were carried out as part of an investigation into an abduction and robbery in Warrenpoint in March.
Three family members were left "shaken and distressed" after they were targeted on Sunday 2 March.
A number of men forced their way into a house in Smalls Road and ordered a 57-year-old woman to visit a jewellery shop in the town and retrieve a number of items.
A 53-year-old man and his 20-year-old daughter were held captive during this time and all three victims were abandoned in a field in the Mayobridge area.
The kidnappers made off from the area in an unknown vehicle. A car later found burnt out close to the nearby village of Burren is believed to have been used in the incident.
During Tuesday's searches, jewellery was recovered as well as other items.
Three men - aged 35, 38 and 49 - were arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary, false imprisonment, kidnapping, possession of a firearm and robbery.
A 49-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, threats to kill, aggravated burglary, false imprisonment, kidnapping, possession of a firearm and robbery.
All four were released on bail pending further enquiries.
