A fire which destroyed a Co. Antrim football clubhouse may have been arson, the club chairman said.
Fire crews were called to Carrick Rangers football clubhouse on Taylors Avenue around 5.30am on Monday.
Flames engulfed buildings near the pitch and smoke was billowing towards neighbouring houses.
Three fire engines and an aerial platform attended the scene.
Chairman David Hilditch told UTV: "There appears to be indications that the fire was started deliberately."
"If that is the case, it is particularly disappointing," he said.
