More than 30 days of continuous rain have led to some of the worst flooding in decades in Co Fermanagh.
Aerial shots taken from a UTV helicopter show parts of the county have been plunged into water, as water levels in Lough Erne continue to rise.
There are fears of further flooding across the county as more heavy rain is forecast.
Enniskillen, Bo and Newtownbutler are the worst affected areas.
Motorists have been warned to take extra care and expect delays.
Vehicles are diverted through Enniskillen, as it is the only passable route from the east to the west of the Lough.
A Roads Service spokesman said: "Motorists should not risk driving through floods unless you are sure your vehicle can cope with deep water."
While Fermanagh has hit the headlines, our helicopter shots show other parts of Northern Ireland have also been submerged.
In Co Armagh, farmland has been badly flooded. But the worst flooding took place in the Republic of Ireland.
On Monday, Taoiseach Brian Cowen visited some the worst hit areas in Cork, Ennis, Clonmel and Galway, where waters have begun to recede opening roads for the first time in three days.
But thousands of homeowners along the Shannon fear further devastating floods after the river reached record levels on Monday night.
Councils in Clare, Limerick and North Tipperary and local emergency services have all warned areas from Parteen to Limerick city to expect further floods overnight.
A small number of homes have been evacuated.
