The annual Festival of Flight took place in Newcastle on Saturday.

Thousands of people watched the air display over Slieve Donard in the Co Down town.

A parachute display team from the RAF landed on the beach and the iconic Vulcan staged a fly-past.

Last year, over one hundred thousand people watched the show and organisers believe this year's event has been just as successful.
