Five boats have sunk in Newcastle harbour, Co Down, due to harsh weather conditions.
Five vessels, around 20ft in size, which were docked along the wall of the south quay, were swamped after high waves struck the harbour on Sunday night.
A station mechanic at the local RNLI station said the damage was caused by "unusual" weather patterns for September.
The majority of boats in the harbour were closer to the coast and were not damaged.
A salvage operation has begun.
